FLOWER POWER

Get Ready for the 7th GUNNZO Plastic Tactics Contest!

This time, the theme is “Flower Power”!  Welcome the spring time with some new blooms! This can include flowers on your model and/or base✨

This will be open to both Gunpla and Warhammer models (minimum 32mm based models).

⭐︎Entry Fee:

$10 - Register at either GUNNZO location (Old Town or Alvarado Canyon), or on our website shown below

⭐︎Rules and Submission Details:

- Registration Deadline: March 31st
- Submission Deadline: March 31st (must make an appointment for Tuesday) during business hours
- Judging: April 4th-April 7th
- Winners announcement: April 8, 2026

⭐︎Required Models:

Any model from Gunpla, Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, or Warhammer Kill Team. You do not have to buy a new model from the shop in order to compete.

⭐︎Build Requirements:

All entries must already be completely built at the time of submission. Entrants will be unable to make any additions or alterations once submitted. For Warhammer models, you may kitbash your model if you’d like, as long as it’s from Warhammer pieces. No 3D printed pieces allowed for Gunpla nor Warhammer.

*Painting Rules:

Models must be submitted fully painted and based. Once submitted, entrants will not be permitted to take out entry to alter.
Once winners are announced, we will communicate with entrants to come pick up their models, if they do not wish for them to be on display until May 31st.

⭐︎Judges:

The judges include GUNNZO teams and special guests. All judge members reserve the right to accept any entry that does not follow the requirements.

⭐︎Categories & Prizes

There will be one chosen victorious in the following categories:

- Grand Master of Flowers -
Prize: GUNNZO Gift Card and 2027 Otaku Smash Matsuri admission

- Best Gunpla -
Prize: Gunpla Model and 2027 Otaku Smash Matsuri admission

- Best Warhammer -
Prize: Warhammer Commemorative Series Model and 2027 Otaku Smash Matsuri admission

The announcement for the winners and prizes will be on April 8, 2026. All entries will also have their models on display at the 2026 Otaku Smash Matsuri!

All entrants will also have the opportunity to receive 50% off one ticket to Otaku Smash Matsuri (with the exception of the winners). Discount codes will be sent to entrants after the announcement of the winners.
