This is a pearl paint that achieves a unique shine and color brilliance not seen before.
Pearl paints do not rely on their own color but instead change their appearance based on the underlying surface and the wavelength of light that passes through the pearl particles.
When applied to white or light-colored surfaces, the paint creates a pearl-coated effect. It may appear as if there is no color overall, but areas hit by light will show the pearl color. This is effective for car models and character figures & kits.
When applied to black or dark-colored surfaces, the pearl effect appears with a metallic tone. Pre-painting the surface black allows for a distinctive metallic finish, making it suitable for car models and mecha models.
The large size of the pearl particles results in a matte finish. To achieve a more beautiful, jewel-like sparkle, apply a glossy clear coat as a “2-coat finish.”
