Beargguy Dream Bash

Thank you to all participants for the participation and cooperation in this contest!

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the two participants who joined the Plastic Tactics – Beargguy Dream Bash!
Unfortunately, due to the summer holiday season, a few contestants had to withdraw from the event. For this reason, instead of ranking the entries, both works will be recognized equally, and each participant will receive a first-place prize gift card.

This contest was themed around the “Dream Bash”, using the Beargguy Ohana and Haro kits as a base. Both entries captured a lively, festive spirit—truly embodying the essence of a Bash!

The works are currently on display at GUNNZO HOBBY STATION, and we warmly invite everyone to come and see them in person.

  *Late submissions will receive a 100-point deduction — no exceptions.
- Winners announcement: August 17th

⭐︎Build Requirements:
All entries must feature all three model kits from the Beargguy Ohana & AloHalo Set as the foundation. 

You must include the following details for your submission:

  1. Build Title 

  2. Theme description 

  3. Your name (First and Last) 

  4. Email Address 

  5. Mailing Address

  6. Photo of the final posing representation (For display purpose)

  7. General information about theme scenes include bases and the weather effects.

⭐︎Judges:

The judges include GUNNZO teams and special guests. All judge members reserve the right to accept any entry that does not follow the requirements.

The Points system is a total of 300 pts:

  1. Posing: 100 pts

  2. Themes: 100 pts

  3. Build Quality: 100 pts

  • Categories & Prizes
    There will be one chosen victorious in the following categories:

    • Posing Winner - Gift card $50

    • Theme Winner - Gift card $50

    • Build Quality Winner  - Gift card $50

    • Meister Winners - 1st: Gift card $200, 2nd: Gift card $100 

  • All participants except the winner will receive a $10 gift card.

Posing (100 points)

We’re looking for expressive, creative, and purposeful posing that brings your Beargguy to life.
 Judges will evaluate:

  • How well the pose fits the Theme

  • Use of dynamic movement or emotion

  • Balance and realism (no visible stands unless integrated into the display)

  • Clever articulation or custom modifications that enhance the pose

Theme (100 points)
 Your build should tell a story or express a strong theme that aligns with the contest’s concept: Beargguy Ohana's dreams and passions for the future.
 Judges will consider:

  • Originality and clarity of your theme

  • How well the diorama or setting reflects the theme.

  • Supporting elements like base, background, or weather effects that strengthen the theme

Build Quality (100 points)
 This is the technical backbone of your entry.
 Judges will focus on:

  • Clean assembly (seam line removal, nub cleanup, etc.)

  • Painting and finishing techniques (smoothness, shading, decals, etc.)

  • Custom work (kitbashing, scratch builds, added detail parts)

  • Overall craftsmanship and attention to detail

The announcement for the winners and prizes will be on August 10th, 2025.
