Jose Reynoso revealed his new “Gumpy” prototype at our first ever Open House and it looks awesome! Complete with a laser etched cigar box, and t-shirt we got a sneak preview of both the original and DIY version. Several lucky winners also walked away with a Gumpy t-shirt and one super lucky winner walked away with his very own DIY prototype!

Our first ever GUNNZO Open House had a great turnout! People showed up from all over as far as West Virginia, and everyone had fun customizing and showing off their talents. It was great to be joined by guest judges Paul Kaiju, John “Spanky” Stokes, kaNO and Jose Reynoso. And we can’t forget about the unveiling of Jose’s awesome new prototype “Gumpy”, which was raffled off to one lucky winner! Thanks to everyone who showed their support by coming out and having a great time and for those of you who couldn’t make it we hope to see you next time!

6:30 PM: Stop Accepting Submissions for Both Categories
6:30 – 7:30 PM: Voting
6:00 – 7:30 PM: Trading Party and Voting
8:00 PM: Winners Announced!

Contest Rules

There will be two categories for the Custom Contest:

Category 1 – Live Customs:

Purchase your blank vinyl toys here, or bring your own but they must be customized start to finish at GUNNZO store. Any D.I.Y toy and additional matterials may be used, but it must be completed within the 3.5 hours allotted.

Category 2 – Bring Your Best Work:

No restrictions! Bring your BEST CUSTOM.

Voting

Voting will be done between 6:30 and 7:30 PM. You may vote once toward your favorite custom, which will also be voted on by guest judges. The judges votes will count as two votes each.

Trading Party Rules

No fighting, biting, or scratching. Begging is allowed. Bring anything you want to trade (toys only please).

New Releases From Kidrobot

The new Fortune Dunny, blown up to 8″ from Series 4, and designed by artist MR. Shane Jessup, is set to be released Thursday July 23rd priced at $75.00.

Next, on Friday July 24th is the release for the new Holy Roller FatCap 6″, designed by LA-based graffiti artist, illustrator, and painter Deph also priced at $75.00. The Holy Roller FatCap even rattles when you shake him, like a real spray can!

Gunnzo will have special store hours this week July 21st to July 26th. We will be open from 10AM – 8PM.

Our store is located at 2445 Juan Street San Diego, CA 92110, only walking distance from the Old Town Trolley Station (take the special event red line from the convention center).

Skullhead Dunny

This Thursday, June 18th is the release date for the new, ultra-limited, and hand signed Skullhead Dunny! Based off of the original design from series 1, artist Huck Gee has brought back Skullhead Dunny now in 20″ form. With an edition size of only 200, priced at $400.00 each, this figure is bound to sell out quickly.

In answer to several inquiries regarding this item, and a very limited supply, Gunnzo will be holding a drawing in order to determine the lucky buyers. The winner will be selected randomly from those interested. You will be notified via email by Wednesday, June 17th of your results.

We have received multiple inquiries as to our store hours this Thursday, May 21st, and decided to let everyone know we will be open from 9AM to 12PM in the morning, and then 5PM to 7PM in the evening. If you are hunting for your shelf be sure to stop by and capture something new!
